For the past 15 years, Fish Out of Water has been sharing their love and passion

for music to people of all ages and ethnicities around the world. Based out of San Diego, CA, this bathrobe toting and funk thumping international act has developed an all original set that typically starts with mellow acoustic material followed by high energy rock, funk, reggae, and hip-hop (RoPhunk RaeHop – pronounced “row-funk- ray-hop”), giving a sound that ranges from Jack Johnson, Sublime, to Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Founding members and cousins, Brandon and Kyle Moon, started the group in

2000, consistently sharing duties on bass and electric guitar as well as vocals. On drums is Michael Turco, an established touring/session percussionist hailing from L.A. Together, they have completed multiple tours across the U.S., including the Hawaiian Islands, as well as Australia. Highlights include: playing on top of a water tower during Fantasy Fest in Key West where front-man Kyle Moon jumped off the roof during his guitar solo; and hosting shows for sold out crowds on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts of Australia.

The band has released four albums over the span of their career including:

RoPhunk RaeHop, Harvest your Thoughts, The Dream, and their first full length acoustic album Heart to Hand (mastered by Grammy-award winning engineer Wyn Davis of Total Access Studios). Between tours, the Fish have been working on their latest CD Cantangelo Skies, due out fall of 2016.

Socially conscience, F.O.W. strives to use their music to its fullest potential, raising funds and donating their talent in support of such causes as hurricane relief, the Gulf oil disaster, breast cancer, and foster care. They hope their actions will one day inspire the rest of the world to give what you can with what you have. Fish Out of Water commands the senses, moves the masses, and leaves you contemplating love, life, and everything in between.
