Women Behind the Music in Cincinnati: Pat Rice

Pat Rice is the most beloved fan in the Cincinnati Music Scene. Recently, we had the chance to talk to Pat about her love of the local scene. If you are a musician or fan of local music, you know Pat Rice.

Pat is always quick with a smile, a chat and has grown to be like family to many in the local music scene. Before we had a slew of talented photographers showing up at shows, and cameras on our phones, we had Pat Rice. She would bring her camera to shows and take pictures. She would then have the pictures developed and give them to the bands.

Pat reminisced about some of her favorite shows attended. Mint 6 Ten at The Void in Northside and Krinj at the first Radiodown (above Tickets) were high on the list. Her favorite local bands include The Pinstripes, Mint 6 Ten, and Close to Home

Pat doesn’t go to as many shows as she used to but you can still see her out and about every now and then. The last show she attended was to see Let It Happen at Washington Park last summer.

She would like people to take away with them that it has been said that if you see her at a show, it's going to be a good one.
