2016 Tiny Desk Concert Contest

Want to play a Tiny Desk Concert? NPR Music and Lagunitas Brewing Company are once again holding a contest. The winner gets to perform at Bob Boilen's desk at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C.

To enter, make a video performing one original song behind a desk of your choosing. It could be your work desk, your home office or the product of your imagination. They are looking for great unknowns, so if you already have a recording contract, you'll have to sit this one out.

Last year, thousands of entries from every state in the USA were received. The winner last year was Fantastic Negrito from Oakland, Calif. His song, "Lost in a Crowd," was anything but, and his career has taken off ever since.

Show them what you've got by submitting a video between Jan. 12 and Feb. 2, 2016, and they will share what they are seeing and hearing over at the Tiny Desk Contest Tumblr, and on NPR Music

Last year local bands in Cincinnati jumped at the chance. Check out the local submissions from last year!
