Night Riots Bring Rousing Live Performance to tSGHR

Night Riots has set the alternative underworld ablaze and risen into the forefront of modern music. After the tremendous success of their self released EP Young Lore Night Riots signed on with Sumerian Records. On January 20th, 2015 they debuted their EP Howl the Eric Palmquist-produced (Bad Suns, Trash Talk, Waaves, Mars Volta) album hit #17 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, and shortly after skyrocketed to #1 on SiriusXM Alt Nation’s Alt 18 Countdown. Their single “Contagious” quickly broke into top 25 on the Billboard Alternative Radio Charts.

Night Riots orchestrate atmospheric anthems, moody and full of yearning. They have been likened to a modern day Cure with early U2 bravado. Frontman Travis Hawley spent five years of his youth in England before moving to a small California coastal town with only one street light; where he met guitarists Nick Fotinakes and Matt DePauw, bassist Mikel Van Kranenburg, and drummer Rico Rodriguez. Now heralded by the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, MTV, FUSE, Huffington Post, KROQ, NYLON, Filter and more, Night Riots have delivered a captivating sound that is timeless and transcendent of genre barriers.

Night Riots have shared the stage with a diverse roster of bands including The Strokes, Death Cab for Cutie, Cage The Elephant, Walk The Moon, Angels & Airwaves, Hozier, Awolnation, K flay, Passion Pit, etc.. as well as a full run on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour. Night Riots have shown that they can win over any crowd with their haunting sound and rousing live performance.
