Film on Rain Pryor + Comedy Show Opens Cincinnati Film Festival

On Thursday, September 10th, the film “That Daughter’s Crazy”, a documentary that explores the life of actress and comedienne Rain Pryor, daughter of Richard Pryor, will be presented at The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky.

Preceding the film at 7:30, there will be a comedy show featuring a lineup of Cincinnati area native comics including: Ally Bruener, Kelly Collette, Teri Foltz, Kristen Lundberg, and Ky Platt, with Pryor headlining. Ms. Pryor and producer, Daryl Sledge will then present the film at 9 pm, with a post film Q&A.

“We’re honored to be able to bring Rain and Daryl here to Cincinnati for this special opening night premiere event,” said Kat Steele, Director of the Cincinnati Film Festival. Producer Daryl Sledge added, “B orn and raised a Midwesterner, I am looking forward to coming back to the region, sharing this project of love with you and hoping to meet new people and friends.”

Rain and Daryl will be in Cincinnati the afternoon of September 9 and will be available for interviews Wednesday and Thursday morning.
