The Part-Time Gentlemen Album Release at Arnold’s

The Part-Time Gentlemen is a band from Cincinnati's West Side that plays an energetic blend of traditional Old Time and Americana music. They take you back to a time and place where the important things in life mattered. Love, family, friends and whiskey. The “Gents” have “whiskey on their breath and women on their mind” and are comprised of T.J. Male (lead vocals / guitar), Nick Sansone (banjo / uke) and Jonathan Doll (upright bass).

The Part-Time Gentlemen’s aptly named debut album, Whiskey On My Breath [preview here] will be released on Sunday, May 17th at Arnold’s Bar and Grill! The band has paid homage to their genre on this album, as you will find a number of traditional songs with originals sprinkled in. The title track, “Whiskey On Your Breath” is an undeniable toe-tapper about women and Hell. While “Sunflowers” is an amazing love song that will make you want to grab someone you are close to and hold on tight. Each track on the album taps a different emotion that you may not have even known that you possessed.

Great local musicians and artists pitched in on the album such as Casey Campbell (percussion / vocals), Andrew McPheters (mandolin), Suzanna Barnes (fiddle / vocals), John Victor (harmonica / vocals) and James Funk (guitar). The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Tommy Cappell (All Nighter Recording Studio). Artwork was done by Justin Lynch and Aaron Zlatkin (Aeroplane Room Studio). And last but not least, photography by Amanda Jackson Grimm.

From start to finish Whiskey On My Breath does not disappoint. The “Gents” have the strong belief that music is the gateway to the soul and this is evident throughout the album.

Come witness for yourself what music was meant to be on Sunday, May 17th at Arnold’s Bar and Grill.
