Indie Band The Pinkerton Raid Head to tSGHR

The Pinkerton Raid is a dynamic indie pop trio with brother-sister harmonies and textured instrumental arrangements. They've played festivals and music series across the South, the Midwest and Northeast and have shared the stage with David Wimbish & The Collection, Lowland Hum, Allison Weiss, Noah Gunderson, Denison Witmer and The Soil & The Sun.

Their debut, self-titled album earned them a slot on the Bandspotting compilation at the 2013 Festival of Faith & Music at Calvin College. They are consistently ranked as the #1 indie band in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region on ReverbNation. Their latest album, A Beautiful World, tells a story of young love – the shy flirtation, the wonder, the questions, young marriage, second-guessing, a baby girl, a miscarriage, the extended family dramas that complicate all of it. It ends in hope – hope that things will get better, hope that what is broken can be healed, hope that what is worn-out can find rest, hope for a beautiful world.

Don’t miss them Tuesday at The Southgate House Revival with Lowland Hum. Doors at 7:30p and show at 8p!
