Corey Smith Hits Home With All Audiences

We've all heard the pop-country tunes of today on the radio, but more likely than not, we haven't heard Jefferson, Georgia native Corey Smith on the airwaves. With little to no airtime, Smith has built a cult-like following over the past decade, and in 2013 was named one of Live Nation's "One to Watch" touring headliners.

Smith's latest album, Maysville in the Meantime, was released in December of 2014, and brings us to the more traditional roots of life outside the populated city.  The single, "Fast Track" depicts Smith's slow lane ride through the music industry, earning fans in a more traditional manner through live shows and appearances versus major record labels and radio play. This all acoustic album, with instrumentation including banjos, fiddles, and more, shows the Smith's natural music and songwriting ability.  Although Smith's sound often appeals to a younger generation, including one of his most popular songs to date, "Twenty One," Maysville in the Meantime, is sure to hit home with an audience of all generations.
