Tender Mercies, one of Over-the-Rhine’s oldest and most life-changing non-profit organizations, continues the celebration of the tastes, flavors and sounds of Over-the-Rhine at the 2nd Annual Taste of OTR.
The Taste will be held on July 26th from 11am to 11pm in Washington Park. It will showcase not only food, but the art, music, shopping and people that make OTR the cultural center of Cincinnati. Sonny Knight & The Lakers, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the headliner band for the Taste. Several local bands will provide music throughout the day. Many popular local restaurants will be featured such as Eli’s BBQ, Taste of Belgium and Graeter’s Ice Cream. Boba Cha bubble tea, Panino, Gold Star Chili and others will be part of the new food truck alley.

Established in 1985, Tender Mercies works hard each day to transform the lives of homeless men and women with mental illness by providing security, dignity and community. Annually, Tender Mercies provides over 200 men and women with housing that is safe, sanitary, respectable and affordable. To prevent a return to homelessness, Tender Mercies assists with obtaining benefits and services like employment training, independent living skills training and crisis intervention.
