A Party in the Park to Remember

The Alternate Routes: are gearing up for a co-headlining tour with Red Wanting Blue, kicking off July 10 in Huntington, West Virginia. Tim Warren of The Alternate Routes notes: “I can count on one hand the number of bands that we started out playing with that have persevered to this point, and one is Red Wanting Blue. Not only are their music and live shows great, they are also our friends. Come hear what a million miles on the road sound like.”

The Alternate Routes are steadily gaining a devoted following with their single “Nothing More,” which was written at the request of a Connecticut organization, Newtown Kindness. The organization was founded in the memory of Charlotte Bacon, who lost her life in the elementary school tragedy in Sandy hook, Connecticut. With its inspiring message, “Nothing More” has been adopted by more than 100 charitable organizations recognizing goodwill, generosity and kindness throughout the world. The Alternate Routes are donating a portion of the proceeds from “Nothing More” to support Newtown Kindness in their efforts to recognize, reward and encourage acts of kindness.

Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle:  a Cincinnati based, 4 piece Americana/Folk band that blends the tradition of heroes like Woody Guthrie and Mississippi John Hurt w/ contemporary flavor. In it's short existence, the band has become known for the high energy shows, prolific songwriting and most notably...suspenders. To hear the Buffalo Wabs is to hear your childhood (for us Kentucky/Midwest folk). I dare you to witness a Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle show and not dance....

Check out both bands at Party in the Park!
