Kalob Griffin Band Spices Up The Drinkery

Kalob Griffin Band Spices Up The Drinkery

Kalob Griffin Band is Pennsylvania Raised, Americana seasoned, Country fried, sing-along music with a side of contagious Rock n' Roll attitude.

The KGB's passion and dedication for energetic live performances didn't start out with a formula, but in just a short time their familial, impromptu take on the live listener experience has erupted into countless sold out shows across the mid-atlantic markets and a growing fan base ('KGB family'). The connective quartet of best friends play more than ten shows a month, breaking into 40+ East coast markets, amounting to 250+ shows since touring began in late 2011. The unpredictable, live dynamic attached to their graceful merging of country, americana, and improv rock n' roll  tunes is what really brings the band to life. upcoming release of a new  EP, Full Love Vol. 1, is set release this spring. All of it is only a precursor to the offerings of the upcoming fall season, full of fan and live show perks that include: surprise content, artfully crafted merchandise, and most importantly, new tunes to sing-along to.

Full Love, comes equipped with some notable backing; recorded by Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Man Man) and mastered by Greg Calbi of Sterling Sound (Bruce Springsteen, Gov’t Mule, Trey Anastasio, Alabama Shakes, The National) it merges their notorious sing-along spirited tunes with title track, "Full Love," and simultaneously lends graceful tribute to the headache of a country heartache with "Fire & Time" a song XPN's The Key called the "standout track" deeming it "... a killer collaboration between long-time scene friends," Featuring notable Philly songstress, Ali Wadsworth.

KGB never duplicates a live offering, but the impact is similar in that the sheer gravity of enthusiasm is growing. Their contagious attitudes towards music and fan relationship development is gaining notoriety and has brought on a certain competitive spirit for the band, but they own their wild brand and understand that the heart of why people go to shows is to escape the tribulations of every day life and enjoy an experience with other live music junkies, and they always deliver.
