Saints of Valory hits Bogart’s on Thursday!

Named one of the top unsigned artists by Billboard magazine in 2012, alternative rock band Saints of Valory signed with F Stop/Atlantic Records in 2013 and went on to record their debut album with Joe Chicarelli (The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Young The Giant). An impassioned rock quartet, Saints of Valory has a multi-national background, with singer Gavin Jasper from Brazil, French drummer Gerard Bouvier, Canadian Stephen Buckle on keys, and American Godfrey Thomson on guitar. They now call Austin, Texas their home.

Formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2009, the band relocated to Austin, Texas in 2010, where they recorded debut EP, The Bright Lights. The EP received radio airplay all over the country, with "Providence" cracking the AAA song charts.

After less than six months on the scene, the band's efforts earned them top 10 placement in six categories at the Austin Chronicle's 2011 Music Awards.
