The Famous Neon's Unplugged is a hidden gem right in your backyard! Not only is it a great place to venture with your family and friends, but it's also a dog friendly destination! Neon's offers a full bar both inside and outside. Seasonal micro-brews are always on tap and the staff are always very knowledgeable about the beer choices. Neon's is also on the future route of the Cincinnati Streetcar between downtown, Findlay Market, and Uptown!
As of July 3rd, Eli's BBQ is now being served on the patio! The menu changes daily but rest assured that everything is amazing. Pulled pork, all beef hot dogs, hickory smoked ribs and hickory smoked turkey sandwiches accompanied with cheese macaroni, mashed potatoes, creamy southern cole slaw, jalapeño cheddar grits or jalapeño corn bread. Seriously...Best. BBQ. Ever.
While relaxing with your beverage and BBQ, Neon's also has the best bands in Cincinnati most nights rocking out. It's a great place to watch Tracy Walker, DAAP Girls, 500 Miles to Memphis and many other amazing bands.
We sat down with Jeremy, the GM at Neon's, to get a grasp on how he has turned his bar into the most happening place in town.
What type of bands do you look to book at Neon's?
Neon's has music everyday but Monday. We look to book all types, mostly locals. Rock, bluegrass and some funky jazz mostly.
Tell us a little about the recent merge of Neon's and Eli's...
It was an easy fit. We had an opening at our grill spot and Eli's was looking to expand downtown.
What makes Neon's an amazing bar and dining experience?
It's just a laid back atmosphere, a place for everyone. We have 131 different craft beers, 175 types of whiskey, and entertaining taps. But it's really the people that hang out here that make it great.
