Night Beds is performing Friday @ MOTR Pub w/ Jenny O. opening!

Night Beds are the indie buzz band lately. Night Beds' lead singer Winston Yellen is quite simply a knock out talent, one you don't want to miss. His voice has a huge range, and an astonishing effect that stuns even the grumpiest of crowds. When performing live, Winston will take off into the opening lines of his first song and the room just hushes up. It's that good. Their debut album Country Sleep was recorded in an old log cabin Winston was living in in Nashville, TN, that was formerly Johnny Cash's guest house. Night Beds have been riding high since the record release in February, having performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, NPR's World Cafe and Tiny Desk Concerts, and receiving tons of praise from American Songwriter, Spin, The Washington Post, Pitchfork and more.

Jenny O. just wrapped up touring the US and Europe with Rodriguez, subject of the Oscar-winning documentary, Searching for Sugar Man. Her critically acclaimed debut LP, Automechanic, came out Feb. 5th to great praise from outlets such as the LA Times, LA Weekly and Vogue. Jenny also recently released a fan-made Soul Train video mash-up for "Good Love" in the same vein as the wildly popular Daft Punk/Soul Train mash-up for their single "Get Lucky." "Good Love" has been a long-standing fan favorite and has been getting plays on NPR stations across the country.

Don’t miss these 2 amazing acts at MOTR up close and personal on Friday.
