Record Store Day is upon us! The holiday was established in 2007 as a way to celebrate independent record stores everywhere. All stores participating are vetted to be true independent record stores that rely on brick and mortar business as their primary source of income. Make sure you check out your favorite local record store(s) today, there are many Record Store Day only releases coming out this year! Check out the list here.

You can pick up some local exclusive releases such as The Greenhornes, Live at Shake It Records 2001 and Wussy, Wussy Duo. You can also catch live performances from Brian Olive at 6 p.m. and then Chuck Cleaver and Lisa Walker of Wussy play at 8 p.m.
