CityBeat will host the 16th annual Cincinnati Entertainment Awards at The Madison Theater on January 27, 2013. Live performances, ticket info, and more details will be announced soon. The event is typically held each November, but the organizers (who also organize MPMF) wanted to allow more time to prepare for the event after Midpoint. 

In addition to the awards show, a showcase of all the "New Artist of the Year" nominees will be held at Bogart's on Friday, January 18. The winner of this catagory will be largely determined by audience vote. 

Expect more info on December 12. The nomination commitee is hard at work trying to pick the most deserving artist's of the year.
