electro-rock duo seeks drummer & bassist

We are a two-piece (she is a singer/guitarist/keybordist and I play guitar, keys and other electronics) at the moment and have been writing songs for the past couple months. We've been writing songs electronically but plan on playing them as a full band. The sound would be an electronic/rock hybrid. A list of bands we sound like or just like: Phantogram, The Postal Service, Radiohead. In our minds two more members would be a perfect fit. We've listed some qualities below.

Our ideal drummer:

Must be able to play to a click. Would have an acoustic kit but be open to drum triggers or pads etc. Ability to sing backups or play additional instruments a plus.


Our idea bassist:

Have a synth so you could switch between that and bass guitar. None of our bass lines are all that complicated but the ability to switch between the two would be a great way to integrate some of that electronic sound to contrast with the rock sound. Again ability to sing backups or play other instruments a plus.


We're late 20's so same age range would be preferable. We practice in Clifton ransportation and flexible schedule necessary and the ability and desire to play lots of shows (in town and out). We've got a hand-full of songs in various stages of completion we can email to see if you jive with us.
