Philosopher's Stone is honored to be to be a part of the COR Benefit Event http://www.cormusicproject.org/live/

The Cincinnati Outreach (COR) Music Project. COR Music Project is an educational, after-school orchestra and choir outreach project aimed at providing high quality music education and eliminating obstacles for students related to accessibility and affordability. COR was founded in December of 2011 and is modeled after El Sistema, Venezuela’s National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras. This type of music program can both create great musicians and dramatically change the life trajectory of hundreds of thousands of children in need.

Our mission is to use music as a vehicle for social change by providing free, world-class music instruction to Cincinnati’s youth, with an emphasis on eliminating obstacles related to accessibility and affordability. We aim to prepare great musicians, shaping a positive future for our students and creating a feeder relationship into current Cincinnati arts organizations, ensuring diversity and excellence for the future of music.

This will be a full night of music including Philosopher's Stone, Deadbeat Dolls, The Harlequins and more....
