That is a good question.

I'm not saying the bands are bad, just that I'm not excited to see any of them.

The only two fountain square shows I have been to so far were WHY? and The National.

I just wasn't excited myself with these shhows and I probably won't make it down to any of them.

I'm still excited about alot of the bands at midpoint and bunbury though.

Actually that is exactly what I mean. If you don't like the shows don't go. There are plenty of other venues for bands that you do like, I guess.
You started your statement by saying I don't want to be negative, but then you were exactly that.
You said that a forum is a place for stating opinions. That's exactly what I did. If you don't like it don't go. I'm sure, based on previous events, that thousands of others will turn out and have a great time, minus you.
