Bunbury Music Festival
Now that the dust has settled and everyone has had time to recover from the weekend, what were some of your favorite parts of the festival? What artists surprised you? What things would you like to see changed for next year? I know a lot of people on these boards actually played the festival. Give us your thoughts & maybe the Bunbury folks will read this and take them in to consideration.
Everything I heard was extremely positive. This is a great thing for the city and it was much needed.

Re: Bunbury Music Festival
I honestly thought this festival was fantastic. I loved the location, I loved the bands, I loved the people, and I love this city. The artist that surprised me the most was Weezer, honestly. I haven't followed them much over the years as I haven't been fond of the direction but they killed it live, and I had a blast dancing to it. All of the music was fantastic; I was super impressed with Imagine Dragons, Foxy absolutely killed it, City and Colour was great and Death Cab was a perfect closer. I was also really happy that there were no arrests/incidents at all throughout the three day weekend. The sound crews did an awesome job and everything sounded great.
Some things I'd like to see changed, and these are minor really:
Cloth wristbands anyone? Those plastic ones became irritating after a bit.
More food vendors - rather than having to cook it on the spot, quicker food options?
Advertise the smaller bands, not just the headliners.
I thought this was a great first year for Bunbury, I hope it continues to grow and improve. You can count on me being there next year, I have so many memories from the past weekend. I can't wait to see everyone again next year!
