Born and raised in Villa Hills, Kentucky. Stephanie moved to Nashville in 2001 following an opening act performance for Montgomery Gentry. Shes a true down-to-earth country artist. Stephanie Corbin favors the country talents of Rhonda Vincent, Gretchen Wilson, Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, Patsy Cline, and Sonya Isaacs just to name a few. This Kentucky born artist follows their edgy styles with her own twist. As contemporary country shies away from steel guitars and twin fiddles, Corbin reminds us of what country music is all about with a twang that captures your heart, a hint of bluegrass that fills your soul, and a lot of rowdiness that packs a punch.
Stephanies unique sound has earned her well-deserved attention on music row but not without paying her dues. Shes become a polished live performer singing and playing in legendary Honky-Tonks like Tootsies, the world famous Blue Bird Caf, the Colgate Country Showdown and the Daytona 500. Stephanies determination, carefree spirit, and un-measurable songwriting talent even earned her a nomination as one of the seven best unsigned singer songwriters of Nashville in 2007.
Known for writing sassy good ole girl anthems, this girl knows how to write a song! Which is undeniable when you hear Ill Show You White Trash, & Dirty Twang. Miss Corbin has once again teamed up with artist and fellow songwriters, Jeff Dayton, who penned Any Old Time for George Strait, Blake Chaffin, Steve Libby, Jerry Holthouse, Frank Taylor, and Tom Lenartz to record a refreshing, clever and well written album that makes you want to turn the volume up.
What truly separates Stephanie from The Music Row competition is a refreshing sparkle reminiscent of The Dixie Chicks or Patsy Cline at her most unguarded. Dirty Twang not only showcases Stephanies ability to write relatable songs, but also her unwavering talent as a singer. Its a great compliment and much needed addition to her self titled debut album, Stephanie Corbin.
Stephanie Corbin paired up with new co-writers and spent all of 2013 writing new material for her third CD project which will be released the summer of 2014.
