sleepy joe lee

Songwriter Sleepy Joe Lee lives in the Greater Dayton/Cincinnati Metroplex, dividing his time between there and Huntington and is in the process of completing follow-up tracks to his full band debut CD, "Free Air", (the title being a dig at media consolidation). With backing by Middletown's Jimmy D Rogers (piano, Hammond organ), Cincinnatians  Charles Woolf and Brian Lee and Daytonian Britton Van Winkle on bass ,  Scott Robertson of Troy and Cincinnatian JJ Yates dividing the drumming duties with Daytonian Aaron Freckman and Daytonian Nancy Wright (BB King, John Lee Hooker) on saxophone, Sleepy Joe Lee, on guitar and vocals, delivers a solid set of eight original tunes and the Sleepy Joe Lee rocked up arrangement of Queen Ida Guillory's "Every Now and Then."
