Los Angeles’ Run Run Run is touring the U.S. in Fall 2011. The indie rock quintet co‐headlined a North American tour last year with Russian rock legends Mumiy Troll. Now, Rx3 is back to support their new self‐titled release. The single/video for their track "PICO" was picked as "Top Tune of the day" by KCRW. These latest recordings feature members of BAUHAUS, NEW ORDER, Z‐Trip, MADONNA and even STEVE PERRY (ex‐journey frontman), and have already become Rx3s top selling title on I‐Tunes.
Having toured in the U.S. since 2006, Rx3 has also opened for the Strokes, Ween, X, The Bravery, Silversun Pickups, Psychedelic Furs, The Teenagers, and many more, and recently played to festival crowds overseas on the success last year’s single, “Song and Dance,” ending 2010 with Rx3 co‐headlining in Moscow’s Red Square. Previously, Run Run Run's caught the attention of Billboard Magazine in fall of 2005. Billboard organized a showcase for the band. This performance and a residency at Silverlake's renowned Club Spaceland landed them a record deal for "Endless Winter,” which was released by Song & Dance Records in the US on May 16, 2006, and Australia's Magic Castle/Universal Records in August 2006. The Good Company e.p. followed in 2007, with a video directed by NCIS star, Pauley Perrette. Their most recent video for “Pico” has made it into heavy rotation on MTV Russia and well as featured on many social media sites. It was directed by Emmy award winner Michael Goorjian (SLC Punks/Leaving Las Vegas).
Rx3’s music is described as nightmarish pop with infectious melodies, droning guitars, aggressive rhythms and cutting lyrics. Radio stations KROQ, KEXP, 91x, print magazines like Spin, Alternative Press, NY/LA Times and LA/SF Weekly and online spotlights on All Music Guide, Rollingstone.com and Myspace who featured the video on their front page, have all championed the band and brought their music into full view of the world.
