Queen City Sisters

Bringing 40s flair back to Cincinnati! Singing songs that connect generations! Tap your toes and sing along- it's time to remember. Queen City Sisters- Harmony. History. Heart.

The swingin' beat of the Queen City Sisters will have you tapping your toes and snapping your fingers. This a cappella women's trio dazzles audiences with their close harmony arrangements of songs from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s! In 2013 the Queen City Sisters began from a desire to bring a touch of old Hollywood glamour to Cincinnati audiences. Classic songs by Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, The Andrews Sisters and more round out an entertaining songlist. They've been inspired by the way this music resonates with audiences of all ages. Adults remember the songs from their youth or from their parents/grandparents, and young kids, full of joy, dance as they hear these songs for the first time.

With vintage style and a touch of sass, the Queen City Sisters have performed in a wide range of venues from small rooms to open air concerts including: Cincinnati Dinner Train, 2015 All Star Game, Macy’s Downtown Dazzle, Cincinnati Museum Center, Christkindlmarkt, FOX19, Westwood First Presbyterian concert series, Artswave’s Rosemary Clooney mural dedication, retirement homes and charity events.

The Queen City Sisters combines the talents of Edy Dreith (alto), Kirsten Smith (soprano 2), Melanie Woodruff (soprano 1), LeeAnne Galioto (soprano), KellyAnn Nelson (soprano 2), Julia (soprano 1) and Elainna (alto). All seven ladies have classical music backgrounds and experience performing in a wide variety of musical styles including choral music, musical theater, folk, jazz, oratorio and opera.
