Formed in late 2012, the Cleveland, Ohio based band Pipe Dream features multi-instrumentalists, Jack Ellis, Spencer Hendricks and Gavin Sterkel. Pipe Dream is a sound often described as The Fray combined with Radiohead, influenced by Alt-J and The 1975.

Their first single, "Sometimes", as well as 2 all-original EPs started their discography in 2013. Cleveland Scene comments on the title track, 'Horizon' as it "simmers and then soars, making the song into a potent power ballad."

By early 2014, their first music video and single 'Boston' was released on iTunes and Spotify. In August of 2014 they released their most recent EP called 'The Oak' consisting of four original songs and a music video. Surf Rock comments on the the EP, "Pipe Dream's third EP, The Oak, is a mellifluous four-track gem. Dulcet tones envelop the listener in a sea of warmth and tranquility from the first note to the last."

The band's show history around Cleveland involves headlining at the Grog Shop and playing with bands such as VINYL THEATRE, NICK SANTINO, EMILY'S ARMY, TERRAPLANE SUN, THIS CENTURY and CAPTAIN KIDD.
