Guitarist Mike Ulanski was about to leave the Queen City for a teaching gig in Florida when he met Bret Summe who over the next few days convinced Ulanski to ditch the gig in Florida and start a punk band with him.

The two quickly added singer Tim Mclane, guitarist Adam Brown and bassist Jack Bo, who Bret had played with previously, and the 5 of them set to work in their sweat shop of a practice studio in a former warehouse in Camp Washington. In early October of 2008 Loudmouth made their debut opening up for ska legends Mustard Plug at the Mad Hatter (Covington, KY). Well received, the band quickly built a strong local following, being among a short list of "locals" that could headline the 400 capacity Mad Hatter and sell the room out.

The band also ran a punk house/DIY venue in Clifton Heights known as "The Loud House" where an anything goes policy made for a bevy of epic and amazing shows, as well as a series of debachourous and chaotic incidents that eventually led to the closing and condemning of the house.

Loudmouth hit the road in 2009 hitting Chicago, Grand Rapids, MI, Indianapolis, and Multiple cities throughout Ohio and Kentucky, successfully building a regional following.
As the fall of 2011 sets in, the band is releasing their 3rd E.P. Touring to Florida, recording another EP and the winter and will hit the road again in support of this EP in the spring.
Loudmouth works hard and plays harder, and never wants to stop making music.
