In late 2011, Fred Daniell formed The Goodle Boys around a passion for old-time music. The Boys began developing their own material drawing upon the greats from bluegrass, traditional folk and blues with a contemporary sensibility.
In addition to Daniell on mandolin, guitar, and banjo, The Boys include Matt Graser on banjo and gutar, Greg Longeway on guitar, dobro, banjo, and harmonica, and Michael Bordner on upright bass. They currently play regularly in the Greater Cincinnati region, and often make road trips to play long-weekend mini-tours in various locations in the midwest and around the country.
