Farehaven formed in 2010, with members David Sizemore on Guitar and vocal, Dan Durrant on Drums, and Rob Jamison Bass guitar. They are modern Rock format with many classic rock influences; such as, Van Halen, Creed, and Led Zeppelin. Their sound is a little prog, but mainstream radio friendly. David had been consulting with former A&R and Vice-president of Capitol Records, Don Grierson. He worked with him on a one on one basis on songwriting. He wrote and recorded many demo's and then found the rest of the band and they then began rehearsing and tweaking the songs. In August they met with Chris Schmidt, who they have recorded their full length 10 song debut album, Upside Down. 

They have played many live shows around Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. With very successful turnouts at their live shows, they have opened for The Days of the New and played with many well respected local acts. They have received great reviews from fans. Commenting on the virtuosic musicianship of the whole band, naming David one of the best guitarists they had heard and that he had amazing vocals. Also, commenting on how outstanding Bob's bass playing was and Dan's drumming skills. 

The band has been featured on local radio shows such as native noise and 94.9 the sounds perfect ten. They were receiving airplay on about 40 radio stations throughout the country. They were number 6 on the STS college chart and number 16 on the STS Hot AC chart. They were nominated for the New Music Awards college category for new band.

The new album is due out by February 2010, and will be available on Itunes and distributed digitally and internationally through Internet music retailers. They are continuing to build their fan base and are well received by most Rock fans, for their musical prowess and live performance. Their goal is heavy touring and promotion. They are open to management opportunities and/or label deals, publishing and licensing.
