From Cincinnati comes Dealer, a sonic look into reality via music from the soul in it's purest form. Dealer is made up of charismatic singer/songwriter Nathan Wells and Programmer/Keyboardist Kyle Stacks, who grew up together. Originally a five piece rock band called Black Pharaoh, Dealer took shape after a band split. The Story Guns and Butter written by Nathan Wells is a first hand look into the world of the group. Lyrics about street violence in Cincinnati, poverty, the growing drug epidemic, women, one night stands, organized crime, secret societies, religion and civil disobedience over upbeat and rich modern soul music gives the audience first hand, real life , catchy look into the lives of the group and Midwest America in 2014. All songs are written and performed by Wells and Stacks, who work close with SoapFloatsStudios (walk the moon) and Young Ex (lantana/Allhustlenoluck) to create a cohesive mash of soul, funk, punk rock, blues, r&b and hip hop music. Sharing the stage with rappers (RCA recording artist Lantana) an bands alike, they have a melting pot of fans who they love surprising with each new track and video. Wells and Stacks, known for their on stage and off stage antics have a common goal of grabbing a crowd tight and making them watch. This Soul Rock outfit is often labeled as the hardest working artists in Cincinnati, no days off for the DEALER.
