Cef Michael was born and raised just south of Cincinnati, in Northern Kentucky. After working in the real estate and business worlds for over 10 years, Cef decided that it was time to "stop chasing money, and start chasing dreams!".  He made his move to Nashville Tennessee on his birthday, June 26, 2011.  With an aspiration of becoming a Nashville songwriter, he began playing shows on Nashville's Lower Broadway district to simply pay bills.  Cef instantly became a crowd favorite of people from all over the world.

On a fall night, making his weekly drive from Nashville to Kentucky, a call came in from Las Vegas.  Cef was invited to play Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill inside the World Famous Harrah's Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.  After one trip, Cef and his band were invited back on a steady rotation.  Playing over 100 Las Vegas shows and hundreds of Nashville Broadway shows in the past 2 years, Cef Michael's fan base spreads across the entire United States and Canada, parts of Europe, South America and Asia.

Fueled by his love of travel and meeting new fans, Cef spends most of his time on tour nationwide.  Large country markets like Chicago, Wisconsin, North Central California, Alabama, and the Carolinas, are among some of his favorite areas to frequent.

Cef has the opportunity to play a variety of different shows.  His 3 hour club show includes cover tunes from todays top artists, and a few timeless classics, a few of his most popular originals, and is one of the highest energy country shows around.  Cef Michael has headlined several festivals, fairs and venues, along with getting the call to open for some of the biggest names in country.  He has shared the main stage with Tracey Lawrence, Thomas Rhett, Rhett Akins, Dustin Lynch, Casey James, Colt Ford, Chris Cagle, and more as well as side stage shows at concerts for Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Sugarland and more.

2013 Highlights include:
