Leaving it All Behind was on the 2009 GRAMMY nomination ballot in the categories of Album of the Year and Song of the Year. In 2010 and 2011, Brent returned to the 52nd and 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards.
A Chicagoland native, his fan base exploded while he attended Purdue University as he performed at fraternities, bars, private parties and benefits 4 nights/week, gaining the attention of several record companies along the way. His performances have either been heard live at clubs, private parties, corporate events, festivals, weddings or on the radio or television throughout Wisconsin, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Virginia, Kansas, Texas, Kentucky and Ohio for audiences ranging from 50 to 1,000 in size. Brent has also been a popular opening act for touring bands and has performed shows that have included bands such as Blessid Union of Souls.
Brent has been touring over 2 nights/week in Cincinnati, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky and has received positive press and reviews.
His third album, Leaving it All Behind, was released in 2008 and is available at all major online retailers including iTunes, Amazon, Broadjam, CDbaby and of course at www.brentbachochin.com.
Brent is currently in the studio working on his 4th album to be released in 2011. In addition, Brent has joined forces with an all-star band in the highly anticipated, soon-to-be hit local Cincinnati television show, Cincinnality, coming to TV in the summer of 2011.
