Hailing from Brooklyn, all boy/all girl is not your typical indie band. They play an introspective form of pop music from the vantage point of an Avant-Garde chamber ensemble. Their music, though quite unique is referential, but never contrived. With arrangements that are sonically complex, and dynamically expressive; the often dense sound they collectively produce seems airy and organic, but never loses their quirky sense of style.

Vocalist and ukulelist Danielle Lovier champions the group with a strong, yet sultry voice which seems to sound both old and new at the same time. Along side her you will find supporting vocals by Cincinnati native Jessie Rogowski, as well as guitar, drums, and a trio of strings including; viola, cello, and double bass. On occasion they are joined by friends on Trombone and Trumpet.
Danielle, along with bassist Nicholas Rahn started the group as a duo living in Philadelphia at the time. They self-recorded a five song EP in early 2012 (now living in NYC) and sought out to build a band around the arrangements from the EP. They started performing as all boy/all girl in June 2012. In October 2013 the band self released their fully-analog debut LP entitled "Tiny Igleisa".
