A Continuous Now

A Continuous Now's latest offering Transient Soul Umbrella is the rare concept record that doesn't force the "concept" but rather invites the listener to dig deeper, to connect with whatever their own spiritual center may be and learn to appreciate life. A Continuous Now is a band that embraces life's gray area and doesn't fast track past the darker elements of self-searching. Their latest 11 songs were laid to track over the course of a single week in the Winter of 2011 with producer Erwin Musper (Scorpions, Metallica, Van Halen) to maintain emotional continuity and keep the organic quality of the lyrics and music intact. Stemming from a rich friendship and history the beginnings of A Continuous Now (ACN) started with Jason Coulter and Tennis Mounts on the east side of Cincinnati. Longtime musical brethren, they honed their relationship and skill over a period of twelve plus years in bands like: Deeper Water and Gerald's Rainbow. The culmination of their partnership has now blossomed into ACN. The addition of Chris Sarvak completed the circle. Tennis and Chris were friends within the Cincinnati music community and always talked about starting a band together. It took a year to get started but there was an instant rapport with all three of them, and the band hit the ground running in 2009. Thus, a supreme rock cinergy was formed and one that will not be denied. Garnishing a variety of music industry attention ACN is determined to make their path and succeed. They have worked with: producer Erwin Musper (Van Halen, Elton John, Jeff Beck), Chris Bell (U2, The Roots, The Eagles), Chad Taylor (Live, The Gracious Few), David Dominguez (Guns N' Roses, Weezer, Staind, Papa Roach), John Curley (Afghan Whigs). Their musical style is a tasty swirl of rock than can bare a likeness to bands and artists like: Live, Peter Gabriel, Muse, Blue October, and Rush.
