Let's talk about a band that really deserves your attention. Joey & Michelle Sparto are unlike any other married musical duo you've heard before. They are innovative and conscious with their music. 74 West brings you back to a time of leg warmers & over-sized boom boxes on your shoulder but doesn't hold you hostage in the past, plus they give you some common sense along with it!

Joe was in a nationally touring band named Milkweed for ten years. He has played festivals like Motor City Music Conference and performed with bands like Foxy Shazam, (hed) P.E., Tech N9ne, and Mushroomhead just to name a few. After playing heavy metal rap fusion (of which i was a mosh-pitting fan) he decided to make & play the music that spoke to him. Influenced by early 80s new wave and tech-noir, he began his pilgrimage to pop music. His wife Michelle had limited musical experience and learned to play bass during Joey's transition. What started out as a project to test personal musical boundaries and limits turned out to be some of the catchiest music I've ever heard!
In their own words: "There comes a time In every artist's life when you can make music you think people will buy, or you make the music that you love. Welcome to 74 West! A true story of love and finding your way home." I couldn't agree more & I look forward to all that 74 West has to offer the world.
